kickwheel free to a good home

Attention potters who want one really strong leg: About 10 years ago I
took a pottery class at a local high school, and they were selling their
old kick wheels. I was dying to own a wheel, and in those days had no
dough, so I obtained one for the princely sum of $2. However, life got
out of hand and I never used it. Eventually, I got myself an electric
wheel, and I can't imagine using the old one. However, I'm sure there's
someone out there who would love and respect it for the very reasons
it's not for me.

I don't know a lot about it, but it weighs A LOT. It takes at least two
big guys with a hand truck to move it. It is pretty tall, higher than my
waist, and has a sort of circular stone thing that provides momentum. It
is propelled by a pedal/pump kind of device, and is of undetermined age,
but seems to work like a charm.

Please come take it out of my basement! I live in Morris county, NJ, and
if you can move it you can have it. Please contact me off list: lisa.h@rcn.com

Thanks!
