Does anyone know a good resource for Lustre and Volcanic glazing? I want to
make some glazes like Beatrice Wood, are there any recipes of hers floating
around? Or just any great recipes out there and what do they look like? Are
there any books on the subject? Can you use and electric kiln? THANKS!

Chris

Dear Chris,
I don't remember the issue but Beatrice Wood gave several glaze recipes for
her luster glazes in a Ceramics Monthly article. You can research the dates
on line at the CM website. She does't give the colorant ingredients however.
Also the Clinton book on Lusters is really the best for practical hints and
colorants. Good luck there are only a few people doing luster work from studio
ceramics points of view.
