Jeez Paul..

I think the comments of protest Jeff and Dave claim are very well
justified...
I have had the chance to read 30 years of CM letters over a period of about
six months...
and seen the points of view projected like a motion movie..
running the gamut of art, craft, funk, junk, art speak, no speak, etc. etc.

It is an essential question and it will never go away...
It is not too far behind the ultimate..who am I ?

Your are right though... there is no definitive answer to either (thank god)
But damn, I have been waiting for my chance to say something...anything!

And if you expect me to go into the archives to dig up the past...
then you had better well be prepared to deal with that too.

No, this is a perennial question...it is not preserved somewhere
in dusty old mags and archives to be annually gleaned for wisdom
by studious beginners searching for answers.

Bloody right!..This is a living breathing question..
not some dead skeleton in the closet.

Btw,
Tommy says..

"I challenge you to say that a board of freshly made bowls sitting near an
open window, being brushed with the morning, or evening sun, is not art."

I think this statement is bang on, yet... as unique as one of HIS bowls..
Oh hell..why bother they have all been made before.
