Ababi,

Ignoring what I felt was a little bit of sarcasm on your part, I'd like to
know what you mean by "ignoring the grams". Aside from the fact that you
think I'm new to using Tonys program, I have been using Insight since it's
inception. Now I'm all up for learning and for being shown that I may have
been missing something along the way.
When you say I'm ignoring the grams, just what do you mean?
I took Tony's formula for Frit 3110 and entered it as 100 grams and it
automatically calculated the molecular level. I then matched those moles
to the frit formula using the raw materials shown in my original post.
Since I have used this program successfully for myself and friends to
recalculate glaze formulas when materials have disappeared or changed, etc,
I can't see that I am missing something; but who knows -- anything is always
possible; and as I said, I'm always up for elevating my knowledge.

Regards,
June

Dear June
You missed the point
My English is not the best (though Shakespeare asked my advises sometimes)
What do I mean be ignore:
let me open Insight:
new recipe frit 3110 sub
recipe one 3110 amount:ro unity 1 recipe two: no unity
cryolite supplies; I choose the Alumina
borax
Wollastonite
soda ash
pearl ash
No unity.
In spite of the fact that on recipe one I wrote 1
by using the molecular weight or I do not know how to explain I got 210.1
please note:
Recipe one

So insight IGNORES the fact that I had only one gram of 3110 and gives me 210.1
something and give me strange result.....
now I will go back to Insight and write on recipe two ro unity and the number 1
