I have not tried this yet, but I know a fellow who has disposed of bat pins
alltogether, throws a clay "pattie" first thing, slaps on bat, whaks it
with fist, throws pot, pries bat off clay "pattie", slaps on next bat, so
on, and on and on. When my bat pin holes get worn, I am determined to try
this.
