For UK clay arters and those who listen via the BBC website:
http://www.bbc.co.uk and click on Radio4

Zany commedian and potter, Johnny Vegas has a new radio series starting
18.30 hrs. tomorrow, Tuesday 27th August.

Sorry, Steve, I know you hate it and are forced to listen by your better
half, but at least there should be some mention of clay?

Funnily enough, this Johnny Vegas series is called "Nightclass".
Appropriate enough given the current thread on classes and opportunities
for making pots for those like Jenny in London, without the space at home.
Rather stilted humour and a contrived "plot" in the first installment, so
will wait to see how it develops. Some may have difficulty with the
Northern accent...?

One rather funny bit was "get to know your clay"... "Talk to it, love
it..." Hummm... Seem to have heard this somewhere before...?

The full URL for those interested is
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/comedy/nightclass.shtml Apparently you can only
listen in when it is being broadcast: Tuesdays.18.30 hrs (British Summer
Time which is Greenwich Mean Time plus one hour for another month or so).
Certain other programmes seem to be available at any time, including "The
Archers", which Steve hates! He does exaggerate though... It is only on
twice per week day, plus an abridged week's worth at the weekend sometime.
They even have an Art Gallery in this perennial tale of "simple country
folk", in a make-believe county somewhere in England. :-)

Janet Kaiser - Archers' Addict No One... I missed over 20 years of it, so
am having to listen hard to catch up! It used to signal bedtime when I was
a child, but now it's ding-ding "get down to homework round two" and the
time I check e-mail (19.00 hrs. every evening except Saturdays).
