A friend will be moving to Philadelphia in a few weeks and is looking tor a
place offering good facilities and classes. Any suggestions,
recommendations, caveats?

Tell your friend to try the Clay Studio on 2nd St. in Philadellphia.  They offer a wide variety of classes, bring in different artists for workshops, have a great gallery, and on and on...


Your friend is lucky, now (s)he can eat soft pretzels, cheese steak hoagies, and scrapple whenever the urge hits.   Lots of yummy restaurants in the city, as well.
