cobalt greens, updated website

updated wed 21 aug 02

Just wanted to share that I finally re-worked my website this weekend
(bought a digital camera at last -- wahoo!), so the images there now
actually look like my current work instead of 2 years ago. If you don't
like blue pots, don't bother to visit.

If you are interested in cobalt greens, there are a few images of my cobalt
green glaze there. This is the very simple Frit 3134 50%, EPK 25-30%,
Silica 20-25%, cobalt carb 2.5%, rutile 5%. The green bowl on the gallery
page shows what happens when you refire it -- gets greener! Preliminary
results of Currie grid testing of this glaze are at
http://lightonecandle.com/currie.html. The original glaze is actually not
on this grid, but #3 is the closest approximation.

Hi Rebecca,

Thank you! Yes it is a cone 5-6 glaze, sorry I wasn't explicit -- Cone 6
ox is just the ocean I swim in, so I don't think to mention it.
