Hello claybuds,
Wanted to let those know in Ontario or New York about the Toronto
Potters show that is opening at the Gardiner on Wednesday, Aug. 14,
at 6 pm. The Toronto Potters has a membership of about 100, who live
and work mostly in Toronto, but a few of us live outside of Toronto.
The jurors were Ann Mortimer, and Susan Jeffries. If you do come, it
will give you a chance to also see the absolutely superb show,
"Ceramic Modernism: Hans Coper, Lucie Rie and Their Legacy", there is
a total of 158 works on display. I do encourage anyone to come to
see this show if it is at all possible, it is over on Sept.2. The
Toronto Potters exhibition continues until Sept.11.
Hope that some of you can make it.
Liz

p.s. went to Alfred last week-end and saw "A Ceramic Continuum: Fifty
Years of the Archie Bray Influence." Don't know how long it is on,
but an amazing show too. So nice to see some of that work.
