Thanks for the help choosing colors, everyone. Now I know I can use brown,
blue, green, white and black . Actually, the black kind of appeals to
me a lot. I've tested Ron/John's Licorice on porcelain, and it's yummy.
I'll test some on the Mid Cal 5 stoneware and see how it comes out on that.
The suggestion of making "hands" to serve the salad with sounds great.
Originally, I was thinking of two large seashell shapes and then thought it
was a dumb idea. Maybe I'll go with my seashell idea after all. If
anything, it'll be different.
