One of my favorite bowls ... serving bowl size..... has a rounded bottom =
which sits in a ring. It's a Potters for Peace bowl that I found at the =
Vegas NCECA and is colorfully beautiful. Guests always comment on the =
ring and have many times requested that I create some for them. Since I =
don't accept orders, I haven't ... but Val's tale inspires me. It'll =
probably wind up being square like most things I'm building, or even =
throwing, these days.

Have you seen Nils Lou's tape where he throws a small square plate? I =
have one that Lori gave me at Denver's NCECA. Lovely.
I'm trying to throw the square in a larger plate, but having little =
success so far. Seems to me that the same principle could be applied to =
other simple forms..... or maybe not so simple.

In the Mojave sending Earl many hugs, too. He's right ... in person he =
IS a dear.... indeed.
AND thank you for all the commiserating posts in response to my =
chestpounding wails of angst because I am stuck being I. Such a group. =
I'm fine now. Sorted it all out once again .... I spend maybe 20 =
minutes a year thinking such dire thoughts .... for me, it's cleansing =
.... for some of you, too, apparently from your shared thoughts. They =
touch me. Thank you.
