Why is there a problem with bisque firing in a raku kiln? Couldn't you
control the heating speed to reduce thermal shock? I was just curious.
Thanks

There is no problem bisquing in a raku kiln. Just make sure you go slow
enough to evenly heat. Do turnups periodically and you will be fine.
