Tony,
I saw your offer to send a majolica glaze to someone on Clayart but never
saw the actual recipe. May I ask you for the recipe too please? I have what
my instructor calls Linda Arbuckle's glaze but it's terribly powdery and,
while I haven't tried to paint on it yet, I'm sure it's going to be
problematic.
Many thanks,
Jennifer

Try hairspray on top of your powdery glaze...big help!

Thank you Tony for the glaze recipe and Elca for the hint about
hairspray. I'll use the hairspray on items I've already glazed and will
mix up the new recipe for the next time.

You can also use diluted Stay Flo laundry starch sprayed over the dried glaze Or
you could fire it to a sintered temperature to slightly harden it.
