using molds-ethical pots

updated wed 26 jun 02

There is nothing particularly unethical about using molds unless of course
one designs the molds to incorporate finger ridges and then is cagy when
asked if the pots are wheel thrown.

And then there is the potter on the show circuit who passes off molded pots
as one of a kind carved work and charges appropriately.

Ethics is about how you act- not about what you make.
