Well folks, I can guarantee that the moderators do their stuff. I =
replied to an "Artimator" posting, with more information about that =
trick of getting more rotund pots by pursing your lips, placing them on =
the rim of the neck of the pot and puffing gently to extend the girth =
and the sphericity. Now, that will put you all in the picture.=20

So, I said this party trick had a long history and added a caution which =
had not been aired and an extension towards creativity. Got the bolt of =
lightning from the moderator. Rejected for repetition and editorial =
trickery.=20

Well, judge me again !!!!=20

""Yes, it is a great trick for getting rotundity into a pot but =
beginners who wish to try it should be warned, there are pitfalls. If =
your throwing is uneven then the expansion will follow the weaker =
structure and be restricted where the clay is thicker. But if you are =
aware of this, inducing irregularity into the wall can lead to some =
interesting and, for your spectators, spectacular results.""

I'd like to know what some of you may make of this. Will an example make =
the cover of CM or CT?

Best regards,

Ivor Lewis. Redhill, South Australia.
