Got my first propane refill since building my kiln. 236 gallons for 7
cone ten firings and 3 cone 06 bisques. Its 36 cubic foot. Is this
exceptional or typical for its type?

Sounds pretty good to me. I used to get about 6-10 glaze loads out of my 250
gallon tank with my kiln that was less than half that size.
