to figure out how to make a few more pots in the morning

Greetings Clayarters,
http://www.aquariusartgallery.com/2002anagama1to15.htm

I have recently completed a very special Anagama firing. This firing
endeavor took a full 3 weeks to complete and included 15 glaze tests over 6
different porcelain and stoneware clay bodies. I hope that you will enjoy
these works as much as I am. You will notice that many of the works have an
iridescence, crystals, and a glowing purplish hue in addition to the shino
and natural fly ash deposits. Enjoy!

Respectfully,

Tony Ferguson, Artist

p.s. Currently 36 works from this firing are not pictured on the web site
and are on exhibition at Waters of Superior, Duluth MN. There are also
approx. 30 more works I have not yet photographed that will soon make there
way onto the site.

Thank you.

Merrie,

Thanks again for your comments. You can make pots in the morning, trim in
the after noon and glaze them at night & load them leather (of course dry
the kiln out). Glaze your pots after you have trimmed them and they have
set up to leather hard. Then you can raw fire them. Add cmc gum or
bentonite to make sure the glaze will stick and shrink. Try a few without
any additions of cmc or bent and you may be fine assuming their is at least
15% clay in the glaze mix. If the glaze flakes or jumps off the pot once it
has dried (overnight) then you will need to add. The only way to know if it
will work is to try it.

Thank you.
