firing bullnose tiles

Can anyone suggest a method for glaze firing bullnose tiles? The only thing
I've come up with so far is set a smaller kiln shelf on stilts (over one of
my usual shelves) and put the tiles around the edge.

I haven't attempted a firing yet so if anyone can alert me to potential
problems or propose alternate methods, I would be very appreciative.

What about using a triangular post horizontally as a stilt?

Valerie,
I fired my bullnose tiles on long kiln posts (square profile) laid on a kiln
shelf. I had trouble with some sticking to the post and chipping on the
tile edges, although I had very carefully wiped the glaze off the edges and
the glaze did not run. The second time I fired bullnose tiles I added a
thin layer of kiln wash on the back of the tile and had no chipping or
sticking.
