Just a note - FYI Dorothy Weiss gallery has closed, so don't try to look for
it. But do catch Virginia Breier -- she is my main gallery and aside from
my work, she has the BEST fun, whimsical sculpture around. Her gallery is
in Pacific Heights - on Sacramento St. by Baker St.

Hi:

You could tool across the GG Bridge to Marin County and visit Susan Cummins
Gallery in Mill Valley. Susan was handling some big name, cutting edge
ceramics when I was there a few years back. She's a nice person and would
probably steer you to some other Marin County Galleries too. There was a
functional clay place close to her called Fireworks. I don't know if it's
still there or not.

Dorothy Weiss Gallery in SF has some nice non functional stuff and there's
The Virginia Brier Gallery which is also in SF and Virginia has some OK
functional stuff as well as sculptural.

regards, Craig Martell in Oregon
