Hi Folks, can any one help with a reliable matt black glaze to cone 4 or =
6 electric fired.

Hi Matt,

The Charcoal Satin I have posted on my web site at

will get you to charcoal. A little more black stain might let you approach
black--you'll have to test and see. This is a glaze a lot of people have
told me they have had good luck with. You can see a picture of it in the
September 2000 Ceramics Monthly in an article Ron Roy and I wrote.
