Matt wanted to know:
>What is the story about Moose Creek Feldspar? Will Moose Creek be
>available soon? If so where? Is there any way to get small quantities
>at the present time?

Hello Matt:

I talked to Michael Wendt via email sometime back and he thought that
perhaps Moose Ck would be available this summer. I have no idea what
suppliers, if any, are plugged into this pipeline.

Michael did have 5lb samples available but I don't know if this is still
true. I plugged Moose Ck into the blue celadons that I make with Kingman
and a direct sub did the trick. Blue Celadons with no crazing.

That's all I know at present.

Craig,

Thanks for the update. Moose Creek feldspar sounds very promising. It
seems that Michael Wendt has some terriffic project going on.

Greetings,

Does anyone have an update on Moose Creek Feldspar? I haven't found a supplier who has started selling it. Is it available through any ceramic materials supplier?

Denny

Denny,
I am taking M C high potash feldspar samples
to the suppliers at NCECA in Portland
and will have samples of items fired with MC spar in
the clayart room at the Red Lion next week.
I will see Roger Kaufman of i-minerals group
today and get an update on when the first material
will be at the suppliers for alpha testing and sales.
