Can anyone tell me where I could find information on
how to build a jolly/jigger arm?

Barbara,
One of my favorite pottery books "The Potter's Alternative" by Harry
Davis has a detailed description of how to build one. I think this book
has just been reprinted by Axner.
Good luck,
Hardway Herman

I produced a video entitled "Bill Creitz Presents Jiggering for the Studio
Potter" . It is a comprehensive overview of the process of Jiggering and
Jollying dinnerware. We shot it in Bill's East S.F. Bay area studio where
he had built his own jiggering setup and had begun producing plates, bowls,
cups, etc. with it. You can find out about ordering a copy at:

Hope it has the information you are looking for.
