Dear Liz,
Thanks for the advice on warming up the bottom of my electric kiln. I am =
wondering if it would be possible (and cheaper!) to place an extra layer =
of soft brick in the bottom, rather than buying a new kiln bottom. =
Whaddya think?

Ya know...I didn't have the problem this badly until I drilled that =
second hole for my vent.=20
