What to do with used, empty propane tanks with old valves? Recertification
facilities clean, repaint, and install new valves on old tanks if the old
tank is fit for service. Most tanks will serve.
I'll check with my hubby to see what he suggests. We're in the process of
setting up a business in propane tank recertification, but we're dealing
with the 5,000 lots of them, and I'm not sure what an individual should do
with just one or two tanks. I'll let you know what he tells me.
