A good book about pottery finds and the site they were
found at: "mug house: Weatherill Mesa Excavations;
Mesa Verde Nat'l Park-CO" by Arthur C. Rohn pub. 1971
by Nat'l Park Service.
Mug House was "stabilized" in the 60s by the Park
Service to be a visitor site at Mesa Verde, but they
ran out of staff or funding. Photo facing page one
(history of mug house) is of AC Rohn and the young
grad student Robert Nichols (my gallery owner) who
spent his time there counting tree rings. nezbah
