Morning Tony

If you have a liquid measuring cup/cylinder that is in metric it will make
the answer much simpler.

Do you know the dry weight of your "one cup of glaze" ? 100 grams?
Measure this one cup of glaze which should be approximately 500 mls.

Do you wish to do five tests? Measure out 100 mls of glaze. Each one of
these will represent 20 grams of the dry glaze (if your original amount was
100 grams) Therefore 1% cobalt added to 100mls of glaze would be decimal
point 2 of cobalt.

You will find this much easier to do if you started with a larger batch of
glaze. MarjB
