Thanks Marcia.

Blue is just another part of our vocabulary but I think this particular
color gets a bad rap from overuse maybe. A lot of folks see blue as
perhaps an easy route to a few bucks. If that's really what a person is
thinking, this part of our palette would be put to better use. I'm not
being judgemental, just speculating a bit.

All of the blues that I use are modified with other oxides and usually
overlayed with other colorants and bounced off the temmoku glazes and the
iron/rust slips to give them a grounding and bring them down to street
level. If the blues that I do are OK and pleasing, maybe it's because I've
done a lot of bad blue pots and tried very hard to weed out the ones that
screamed too loud. Whether or not I'm successful is up to those who look
at the work.

yes, your blues show you have worked a lot on them. They are wonderful. Pots
are
great too. Love the decorating.

Gosh, they are such lovely pots! Definitely pot fondling fodder.
Every once in a while I see a pot or series of pots that make me feel
like....well, I have a crush on them or something. Craigs pot's make me
feel like that. Sigh!!!
Strange, I know, but true.

I feel the same way....I looked at them and just kept on looking they were
so, well, right. I can't say that I feel that way often about published
pictures or even pots at shows, but these...Holy Cow!!
