Dear Tony,

I went to a show like that years ago; it was
awersome. All the NLT's pots were there. I wish I
could come to the current one in Burlington, Ontario.

Nevertheless, let me ask you a question; Do you know if
they have a catalogue of the show for sale? I was
thinking I may want to buy one.

Thanks :)

I was just briefly at the Burlington Arts Centre in Burlington, Ontario and
saw a show of Contemporary Japanese Ceramics sponsored by the Japan
Foundation. this is the nicest show of pots I have EVER seen. Not a handle
anywhere, but I'll forgive them. Marvin from SUNY is coming for a visit next
week and he and his students are in for the treat of a lifetime. there are
problably between 50-75 pieces and complimented by the Centres collection of
Hamada, Shimoaka, Kawaii and other fine Irish sounding names. the scale of
the work and the glazes are breathtaking. There wasn't a pot there, I
wouldn't go to bed with.
Yes, Liz if you're reading this, it is a must see for you and Judith.
Truly awesome and and like the CPA on this list, i'm not one to gush over
many pots.
Go if you can. I give a ***** star rating.
cheers,
tony
P.S I'm going back several times.
