Dear Becky,
I am not sure whether that series is one I used recently, but I will
check.
At another time a year ago,I did use a series of underglazes called
Velvets
that worked great on wet clay and wet were not far removed from the final
color under clear glaze] and a clear over it after the velvet dried, worked
as a single fire combo when we tried it,we applied the clear spraying it on
so as not to disturb the painted colors. When I was in Los Angeles the
thrown pieces were ready to trim when the next pieces were finished being
throw, so that might work in your situation.

spank me. slap me. hiss at me all you want but i need an answer fast.
tororrow night i start leading a bunch of 30 little old quaker ladies aged
20-80 in an art retreat. we are making clay boxes. this is in tucson where
clay dries FAST. as i was gathering up all the needed supplies i spied my
large collection of amaco majolica GDC series glazes. could these sweet
little ladies paint some one their boxes if they wanted to and have them
come out not ICKY?
they will make the boxes on friday and could paint them on sunday.

don't let the little old quaker ladies ever fool you. they are one powerful
bunch of women. (i'm the wimp of the gorup) just thought you might offer
more help if we sounded bewildered and beflumixed.
