Richard and Vince: i don't know if this is my marketing background or not,
but I always put my two best pots in first and last position. first one to
get their interest and the last one to leave the impression.
As for the detail shots, I like them but the jury is out on whether they
work in terms of getting you a grant or into a show. I'm tending to agree
with Richard- they haven't served me well. Could there be a seed in the
jurors mind that says he didn't have 10 good pots so he threw in some detail
shots of the 7 pots he had?????????
One thing for sure- get a pro to shoot the stuff. I've wasted more film and
time screwing around for photos that are good but not great. I pay a pro
and the slides are as good as the pots.
