Hi Jesse:
Hi, we own a full service & teaching studio in Williamsburg
Brooklyn, just outside of Manhattan 3 train stops out of Manhattan exactly.
You sound just like what we have been looking for. Why don't you come on down
and check us out so we can talk? This way we can meet you and you can meet us
and see if you like what you see (I am sure you will). Our phone number is
718-218-9424 and our address is 228 Manhattan Ave, Brooklyn. We have
everything you could imagine. We hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely:

Hi, i'm a 19 year old undergrad at Columbia University (currently a
sophomore) and i was wondering if anyone knew someplace i could either
teach or be a labbie (upkeeping a studio).

i've been throwing for about six years now, starting at home learning from
my mom who's been a potter for about 25 years (on and off). I know various
techniquies of handbuilding, throwing, glazing, and firing which i learned
at my high school.

I'm staying in NYC over the summer and need a job, and i miss the clay :(
columbia doesn't have a usable studio (what they call a studio is a room
with a few bags of clay apperently).

any help would be appreciated, thanks
