as requested, here is the recipe from feb 2000 ceramics monthly

titanium yellow slip cone 8

neph sy 31.58%
tennessee ball clay #10 63.16
flint 5.26

add:

superpax 5.26%
titanium 10.53

apply to greenware, toward dry.

that's how it appears in the mag. i fire it to ^9 and it looks good;
sometimes at ^10+ the color washes out to gray with streaks of opalescent
blue, which i like less that the yellow. i also often apply it to
leatherhard greenware with no problem. regards to mr. meerfeld. i hope to
get over to the valley and visit him soon, it's been too long.

Dear Brian,
Thank you for the slip recipe of Blair Meerfeld. I love his work (I only saw
them on the magazines, though). I would like to see your work with the slip.
