Within one weeks time, I had a visit from Carol Tripp from Dubai, received my
mug exchange gift(s) from Alisa from Denmark and found answers to questions I
hadn't even had to ask because someone else asked them for me. Carol was
here in the area visiting her family so we had a chance to get together for
coffee and some clay talk. It was great. She also got to see our Art Center
and a Fire and Smoke show that is going on. A few days later, Alisa's
package was such fun to open. I got three gifts including a wonderful mug
whose glaze's theme is "clouds in my coffee," a tealight holder with cutouts,
and a delightful angel tealight holder too. I hit the jackpot, didn't I? As
for the rest, well, if you follow Clayart at all, you know how serendipitous
it can be. You have a problem with chemicals, or glaze, or firing and before
you can post it, someone else has the same quandary. And as usual, experts
and friends give you plenty of answers, possibilities and support. Thanks,
Clayart. Just had to share the happy connectedness I feel. Toni Smith in
Ohio (trying my darnedest to give back as much as I receive.)

And more on the beauty of Clayart...

I flew out to Colorado last week to teach for a week; my friends with whom I
was supposed to stay had a sudden change of plans, so I emailed Jeremy
McLeod of this list and said "Hey, I know you don't know me but..."

Well, not only did he offer to let me stay with him, but he picked me up,
fed me, and then drove me to Boulder the next day!!! What a guy, and what a
list!

Jonathan in DC
the cherry blossoms are in full bloom!!! And I forgot my allergy medicine
this morning...
