My computer went out for a couple of days...
So I have just now spent time reading the responses
to my fast teapot post...
I guess the point of view that did not get communicated
was the goal of working quickly which for me is
GESTURE.
It's about capturing liveliness...energy....
Who cares about the issue of fast for the
sake of volume of work....
It's about the way clay looks when you let
the material express the potential for
movement.....
So...forgive my somehow starting a game
of one-up-manship...not my motive.
