from the potters project book by peter cosentino

"here gentleman come try your skill.
i'll hold a wager if you will
that you can't drink this liqor all.

I have seen this project in this book, My question is how would you wash
this mug and be sure it was clean inside?

Given they were normally used for drinking Ale; a good rinse should
suffice. Failing that how about feeding bottle sterilising fluid?
