Hi I'm new to this group this week. I do pottery out of a cooperative, at the
South County Art Assoc. in Kingston, Rhode Island. Could you tell me what the
Stay-at-home Mug exchange is about?
Thanks

Jan if you like I'll exchange a mug with you,, I'd hate to see anyone left
out. I love the mug exchange,

Once a year during NCECA, for those of us who were feeling sad & left out
that we either didn't have the time or cash available to attend NCECA,
someone on the list decided that we could do a stay at home mug exchange
just as the clayart list members do at the conference.

Its been a big hit, Chris has done a wonderful job taking names and
addresses of those interested and matching up exchange partners. No one is
left out, beginners, "dabblers" and career potters are all welcome to
participate.

Chris,
Thanks so much for posting these pics. Even though I'm not involved in the
exchange it's so much to be able to see people's work.
Maybe next year we will actually be making pots again instead of pounding nails.
:-)
