The signs in Hobbitville have to be just so. If you
can find them at all they are a bit too flashy...

Hello ,

I'm pretty sure the process we are evolving will
be great for signs. It is the Kurt Wild decorating
process for stoneware. The company I am working
with is in the sign business, they do signs for state
parks, ie they will be doing some signs for Stonewall
Jackson state park down in WV.

We have other projects in the works, and nothing is
for certain, but I'd be interested in chatting with a few
of you about doing signs. The stoneware work will
be at the Alfred innovation center. I'm driving a
couple of times per month by way of Mackinaw MI,
and Ontario so could work with some people not too
far off that route.

If the projects are interesting, and the expectations are
realistic (ie no reds yet, but I keep taking notes) I'd
appreciate a chance to work with a few of you. No
cost to you if you're not happy, will look to cover
our material and shipping if we can do something
you really like. And all like that.

Please make sure you know something about Kurt's
stoneware work beforehand. And absolutely no dates!
If you know about computer vector files (Postscript)
that could help some, but not necessary.

It would be great to have somebody close and interested
enough to look in on things with us at Alfred, maybe when
we are shooting stuff? At this time, I'm not even sure yet
how/where we will get the tiles made.

Please contact me off-line if you are interested.

Hope to hear from a couple of you,

george koller
