Tony Ferguson on fri 22 feb 02

Hi,

It looks as if I will need to buy a new wheel. Does anyone know of any good
sales on a Brent CXC or a Pacifica GT-800? And of course, feel free to
comment on experiences with either. Thank you.

Thank you!

His ebay name is nevadadan. I bookmarked his auctions because I want a wheel
myself one day. His last sold for $630:
http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1327811771&r=0&t=0&sh
owTutorial=0&ed=1012703612&indexURL=0&rd=1

his website is http://www.nevadadan.com/
if you want to purchase directly...

another option is to call up Laguna Clay and be put on a waiting list for a
"cosmetic flaw" wheel...the price is around the same as Dan's...much cheaper
than the list price.

Have you tried ebay?  I've seen brand-new wheels go on there for around $300...delivered to your door.  Some of them even come with a standard set of tools...

Does anyone know if other companies such as Creative Industries offers
this type of thing? Gets me thinking... I'd also be interested in
purchasing a cosmetically flawed skutt :)

Where can I get info on either of these companies? They don't come up on
the Net searches.

I emailed Dan regard his prices the other day and was told that at:
http://www.bullfrogcounty.com/nevadadan/
he is selling the same pacifica (new) for $699 DELIVERED...much cheaper than
on ebay (on ebay you pay $60 shipping)

if you live in CA, to avoid the sales tax the above price is $30 more

Roger,

It sure did help. And Dummy-Me, I've been thru a couple of computer science
classes with my college-age son and didn't think to Google. Google should
be natural to me by now...but it got by me this time. Thanks a gazillion
(you know a million after taxes isn't a million, so the ante has to go up to
leave you with a million).
