Agreed, but Nitrogen Tri-iodide is easier to handle and more =
spectacular!!

I remember making up a batch (very small) of nitrogen tri-iodide as a kid
& leaving it to dry near the flue on our old gas fridge,
it went off at 2am, more like a gunshot crack than a boom,
it didn't wake me, but, it brought my folks out of bed in a rush
