Hi Everyone
I have been lurking here for a few years now and have gained so much
knowledge. My name is Mark and I am in Diamond Springs, Michigan(sw
lower part), USA. Until recently I worked as a graphic artist, and I
also do oil painting and sculpting and have wanted to try wheel and hand
built pottery for a long time, particularly for raku and pit firing.
Last fall I attended a raku party and was hooked. Since I have taken a
basic pottery class, bought a wheel and now a used kiln, well 3 kilns
one a Crusader 3.5cubf, a Skutt 1818 (for raku)and the other a
Knight29x31. I am happy to report that with the help of the post that I
have read here, I have had a successful bisque firing with the
Crusader. I also received most of the stuff for mixing glazes with the
Crusader and have been busy reading recipes and tip on firing them. My
goals has always been to be a full time fine artist with a studio and
gallery. Well there is no better time then the present, so here I go
:0-)

Now for my question
The Knight Kin is in like new condition and I know that Euclid's carries
parts for it, but I am having trouble figuring out if it is Single phase
or Three phase. This is the info on the name plate and it was sold as a
3 phase but came with a 20 amp dryer pigtail, so am wondering if it
really is? Is there an easy way to tell? Any info would be great

Thank
Mark
