Karin, Diane is right: Here is yet another lurker on this fine list.

When you sent your packing suggestions, I had just sent my daughter my
very best pot. I had considered using two boxes, but did not. So
anxiously waited to hear from her, afraid that she might receive
shards. It arrived in tact.

A copy of your packaging email is in my desk drawer with the tape,
scissors, etc. I plan to re-read it before mailing any pots again.
Thank you for taking the time to write this. If I made mugs, I would
send you one.

Cindi,
The western Carolinas are beautiful and very lively. Asheville is a
delightful small city with support of cultural activities unusual for
its size. It is one place that did not raze their downtown. Hence they
have many lovely examples of art deco architecture, from the 20's when
they were booming.
There are numerous smaller towns, Hendersonville, Black Mtn, Spruce
Pines (Penland School), Burnsville. Guilds and coops abound. It is
where we go to pick up clay supplies. The drive up and back is
breathtaking.
