I've been using this glaze a lot lately and I find it will be glossy =
were its applied thin, I figuired it wasnt thick enough to get the =
crystal growth to make it matt. I have my batch thin enough that I must =
double dip, this way I get the gloss playing off the matt. Its actually =
very nice. First dip I hold under for about 5 seconds then I lift out =
until it just start to dry then dip again for about two seconds then =
pull out. After about three or four seconds of being upside down facing =
the bucket I turn right it side up, The wet glaze start to run down the =
sides and leaves a nice thick drippy looking band that ends up very matt =
with the gloss running along the base of the pot between the foot ring =
and the bad of matt. I cool fast to 2100 or 2000 f, then 100 per hour =
down to 1500 or 1200. I think its very attractive.
