I will be going to Austin next weekend and then to Tucson on Monday. My =
newly married son has moved from NC to Austin Texas. I'd like to know of =
some galleries in both places. For one, I just like to go look at =
pottery everywhere I go, for another thought I might find a gallery for =
my work in Austin, and could write off the trips to son. My husband's =
the business man and always thinking about that! Ny work consists of =
handbuilt one of a kind pieces so I need more art gallery type places =
for it but would like to know of anywhere to look at pottery in the two =
locations. Thanks, I know someone will come through!

Hi Susan,

I show in a Tucson gallery -- have never been there but always hear good things about them. It's called Obsidian Gallery and is in St. Phillips Plaza. I do raku-fired sculpture and sell well there. If you go, let me know what you think of it.

I live in Austin. Actually I live in a little town 30 miles from Austin,
but it amounts to the same thing. Try Clayways on Burnet Rd, Clarksville
Pottery, or Feats of Clay for places that focus on works in clay. Lombardi
Gallery is a great place for fresh, innovative work. If you'd like call me
when you get to town and I'll introduce you to some of the clay folks in
this area.
