Dear Clayart,
Before I fly to the NY tomorrow, I am sending these test results just in
time before I travel.
If anyone has any comments directly to me, please send them to my email
address so I can
answer them when I get back around the 21st.

I have used Frit 3134 in some of these tests (surprise), instead of my
usual substitution with my local frit
#623. Thank you William Edwards for the gift I have finally broken open
and used some of. Like having a banana
during WWII I think. At least my grandma used to stuff me with them
because she did not get many as a young person.

Some of the recipes I have taken from www.frogpondpottery.com I have tried
before. I had found
Jane Deboos Teal previously on another site called Janet Deboo. But now I
have
tried them with a different cooling schedule, and the results are indeed
better. More mats. However,
one of the copper mats just would not.

My sweethearts of these trials were the Cream Breaking Red, Oribe and
Mottled or Broken Blue.

regards from Alisa
My suitcase is packed with only ceramics to friends. Plus figs in Brandy
and some other delicacies my family likes. Luckily when I visit home, I am
home, so I have a supply of everything I need. No need to pack shampoo and
toothpaste. I look forward to my visit with my family and I also look
forward to signing on to mail again when I return.
A good couple of weeks to all of you.
regards from Alisa in Denmark, soon in New Jersey.
