clay in indianapolis

I have recently moved to Indianapolis and am looking for a place to do my
claywork here. I would love to rent studio space where I could work nights
and weekends.

I am responsible, tidy and quiet. I have been working in highfire
reduction, but would also be happy with earthenware in oxidation. The main
thing is to resume throwing and developing my own glazes.

If anyone knows of a facility here, or any potter contacts to get me
started, I would be most grateful. I am living near Broad Ripple and my
day job is downtown at the IU Medical Center.

Many thanks!

Hi C.I.I.,

Check in with Cheri Schupp at Brickyard Ceramics (317-244-5230) on 16th
street by the 500 track. She can get you up to speed on what is going on
with clay in Indy. Also check with the museum as they can tell you about the
Art League. You could call the Layfette (shameful spelling) Museum and find
out about the Indiana Potters Guild. They meet and visit Indiana Clay
Artists.
