After Recently communicating with Jonathan off list, and reading his, and
other's, posts on this issue I feel compelled to add to this thread.

My own case is almost a mirror to Jonathan's in timing and circumstance,
and I could not agree with his message more. I know there are other men out
there, many members of this forum, that need to pay attention to this.
In reality, it may not be such an exclusive club after all in that the
incidence of prostate cancer is approaching similar proprtions as women
face with breast cancer. The consequence of ignoring this is grim. If you
are over 40, and have not had an exam to detect this condition, then get
thee to a Dr. NOW. Women of the list, please encourage the men in your life
to take note.

If you have it, it will not be wished away. There are proven, effective
remedies, but as Jonathan points out you MUST educate your self in order to
make the decisions that are right for you. If you do have it, and get the
proper treatment, the chances are excellent that you will survive and have
a good shot at regaining some semblance of a normal life.

Thanks to Jonathan, and otherlist members for addressing this important
issue, even though it is way off topic.
Regards to All,
Chris Henley
