by the one paragraph mention of Duncan Ross's work.
I suggest if this is a path you wish to follow, that you obtain the following
books:
Smoke Fired Pottery by Jane Perryman
Barrel Pit and Saggar Firing, a collection of CM articles
and
Fire Marks: (Available at Laguna CLay though I forget the author.)
All give great information about low fire unglazed techniques that would
probably help facilitate your adventure into smoke fire.
