virus alert 'party photos'

updated tue 29 jan 02

just had an eerie experience
received an email supposedly 'from' a customer who recently finished
installing a tile fountain.
heading was something like 'Look at the new photos from my party!
thinking these photos might include a photo of fountain, I opened email
and clicked to download photos.
At that very moment , on NPR radio, I heard a quick announcement about a
rapidly spreading computer virus, you guessed it , by the same name.
I have Netscape and a mac , so am not sure it did any damage, everything
seems fine, but am not sure if it was one of those that sent email from
'me' to people on my mailing list, with the virus.
SO watch out for the party photo message, from ANYONE.

not a good computer day!
I also inadvertently sent an unfinished and garbled post to the
list...hit 'send' instead of 'spellcheck'
sent the 'help, help!' beacon to Mel, not sure if that is possible, but
if he saves me from THIS embarrassment, he's my hero a thousand times
over. I've been spotted in public with my head poking' through the wrong
side of some long johns but that's nothing compared to an unkempt first
draft! WHEW!!!!

Will try again in the AM, after this virtual computer ' ill wind 'blows
through!
