Dear Susan;

The show in Fitchburg IS the American Shino Show that opened at the
Babcock. Actually, it consists of around 45 of the 'major' pieces from the
American Shino Show. Then travels to the Hui Hui Arts center in Maui, and
possibly on to Japan. You can see some of the Babcock version of the show @

American Shino: The Glaze of a Thousand Faces, curated by Lester Richter.
This exhibit includes pottery by a number of contemporary artists, each
exploring a wide variety of ceramic forms and mastering a glaze first used
by Japanese craftsmen in the 16th century and then rediscovered by American
potters in the 1970s.
