Ron and John -
After this discussion I don't think you have anything to worry about, but
the above request is not realistic. I think you can count on the Clayart
membership to not pass on recipes from your book every time someone askes
for such-and-such recipe. But if someone is doing a project or has
encountered a problem involving one of your recipes and they have a question
they wish to post to the list, then OF COURSE they must include the recipe.
That is the nature of things, and it would be the case with any book. There
is no reason to see this as any kind of threat, because the well-deserved
publicity you and John get because of your generous participation in this
list will outweigh ten-to-one any negative effect resulting from a few
recipes being discussed on-list. So I think the concensus is that we should
all respect the copyright and avoid freely passing out recipes from the
book, but if the need arises, it may be necessary to post a recipe now and
then when a particular project or problem requires sharing that recipe.
